I have a Sensation 4G from T Mobile, the warranty of it is about to end in about a few months. I was planning to root it after it warranty is gone, but few days ago, I remembered that my phone had T Mobile PHP Insurance w/ Warranty by Asurion. I did some research and found out that if you root it will void the warranty and Insurance. I am planning to root it anyways because the Sensation 4G is just too slow without root.
My first question is if I root it and have some kind of problem is it possible for me to unroot it and still get Insurance and Warranty help on it?
My other question is, is it worth it to root it, I'm currently a Freshmen, I do plan to work, but I'm probably gonna be stuck on this phone for about 3 years. I know if I lost my phone or break it, my parents is gonna kill me because I'm the only on in the family with a smart phone. So, it kinda a big risk, especially since I'm in High School, and I am gonna bring my phone to school, the risk of it breaking or being stolen is kinda high I guess.
