Root [T-Mobile] Rooting Questions

Does LG have something similar to Samsung KNOX in the firmware and/or a flag or triangle that says I rooted it. Can it be reversed for warranty

Knox has nothing to do with rooting, a Samsung can be (and has been) rooted and unrooted well enough that Samsung has honored the warranty. And depending on where you live, it may be against the law to use rooting as a reason to not honor the warranty.

Can you root a phone, then unroot it well enough so they can't tell it was rooted? Yes. Can you make sure that once you root the phone nothing will happen to it that will leave unremovable marks that it was rooted? No.

It's not rooting that's the problem (adding one file to the phone [that's all rooting really is] isn't going to bother the manufacturer), it's the damage you can cause by having the phone rooted. Even *nix system admins occasionally root, mess up and curse. The last perfect programmer's great-grandparents haven't been born yet.
