Help T-Mobile samsung vibrant unlocked but cannot get t mobile sim to work on the cell

I bought a samsung vibrant that is unlocked, but isnt. I unlocked the cell, and now my tmobile sim card is not work on my cell

I have the same problem, i got a used vibrant on ebay and it said is unlock, im using it in tmobile but im having huge problems with reception. the phone randomly looses the signal and in my house i get no reception at all... i think the problem could be the sim card but i havent try another sim on the phone so i dont know if that is the problem...
