Root [T-Mobile] stuck searching..

hell all, i got a samsung galaxy note 2 t mobile.. I wanted to unlock it so i followed a guide i found online..

I followed everything it said i had to down grade from 4.1.2 to 4.1.1 i did all of that.. now i notice that where the signal bar is has a circle with a slanted line in it.. i tried reboting the phone same problem.. could this be a internal problem with the phone or something i messed up?

No offence.

I have had a similar issue

I fixed it by stoping playing with my device and setting the menu options back to default.

I was playing with 4g and lte capabilities in dialer menues.
