t-mobile uk update

has anyone got the r2ba020 update from t-mobile in the uk yet?? i still didnt get anything and im still on r1****14 update!
 
I have but you have to click on the repair your phone in the sony companion. When it's repairing, it downloads the latest update and updates your phone. The version I got is R2BA023.

However, it does wipe everything on your phone so back up your apps and text if you want to keep them. Then restore once it has updated.

I must say, the battery life is amazing after the update.
 
Do you know if that's also the case for unbranded phones? I've got 020 but not 023 and wondering if, if I repair it, as I've also read in another thread, it'll give me 023? Or just 020 again.
 
Both Update service on phone and PC companion said I was up to date so tried the SEUS again and sure enough the update is there now. Did the keep settings option and looks like everything is there.

Seems much faster on scrolling etc. We'll see how it goes.
 
cool I updated my partners X10 about 10 mins ago want to do mine but its rooted how do i remove the root as I havn't found any benifits of useing the root for my day to day normal use. (Don't get me wrong I can see the benifits if you want full access and stuff but I only did it for the update thats now offical lol)
 
I'm on T-Mobile UK and have just run the SEUS. Was able to perform an update without having to do a repair so it's kept all my apps :-)
 
i'm getting 2 x10s on friday from tmobile and thought the upgrade was coming in sept. what about the multi touch upgrade? did that appear?
 
Yeah the actual Android update is coming in September, this is an SE update, rather than an OS update.
Also, the screen isn't capable of supporting multi touch, no matter what updates they throw at it :(.

yes blah the screen can't do it but software has been written for multi touch to work on resistive screens that also did not support it.. it just used a different method to give same results so it could still be possible... read.... i'm getting 2 x10s from tmobile on friday. thought the update was due in sept. what happened about the multi touch upgrade, did that happen?
 
I am no techy person but that refers to the Windows Mobile operating system not Android.

It would be nice if one of the XDA guys could sort it but I am doubtful if we will ever get multi-touch.
 
Hmm, not seen that. Well if someone can do that on Android I'll be very happy. Then I won't have to keep using my partners phone to play Sonic Advance on the GBA emulator. I can play it on mine but, much better with multi touch :p.
 
what did you mean run the SEUS wooks63. i searched for any updates and it told me there were none. its telling me build number r1***14

thats me updated my phone to R2BA023 and didnt have to repair either all apps ok as well. what differences are there between the two anyway?
