Will we EVER get 4.1.2? A friend who is on either AT&T or Sprint (I always get them mixed up) just brought me her S2 and even THAT phone had 4.1.2. What's the hold up? What's the problem? You loved me so much when it was time to spend all that money to buy this thing, now you hate me and won't give me the latest version? Grr...

It's easy to tell the difference between an AT&T user and a Sprint user. The Sprint user will still have some money in their wallet. :p

Well so funny but ask yourself u looking at a 4.0 on your carrier and I can say this LG esteem from metro PCs still 350.00 and this still has 2.3.4 as the os. And I wish my carrier would just put it in a special update as 4.0 or even 4.2 :banghead::D:p . So join the slow gang

Yeah, I probably get them mixed up because they're the two that have absolutely no signal in my house and most of my neighborhood. They're both in the useless-to-me category.

Maybe a better question would be - who's holding up the upgrade - T-Mobile or Samsung?

Surely t-mo?

The way i see it, samsung would have gave t-mo the code at same time as everyone else and its then down to the carrier to bloat and do their own testing?
Dont think ill ever understand how the US carriers work though unless i live there for a few years lol. Which isnt ever gona happen :(

I got rid of t-mo due to their 1) lack of updates/slow updates and 2) they slowed my data after I used 5gb in one month (they claimed it was unlimited 4G with no caps)

Sprint, in my opinion, is faster with updates.

Funkylogik you are welcome here in the States anytime!

Lol thanks mate :)
I have criminal record though and i think the US is pretty cautious about who they let in. Id love to see some places in US though
