T-Mobile USA Coverage in your city?

Yeah, I don't see anyone beating unlimited data, at 7Mbs+, for $10/mo. right now.

Thats why my wife and I joined her fathers small buisness plan. :p
We pay 75$ a month for unlimited minutes/text/web if it wouldnt have been
for that I may not have gone for it, lol. That price is for both lines together.

Nice. I average 950Kbs up/560Kbs down at my house...I'll have to go drive 3 miles north where I get 7Mbs down to see if its been upgraded.

:p

Well this sux, I still only get ~950Kbs, yet have full bars 3.5G at the house. Supposedly another tower is going up in my town, but it will still be about 3 miles from my house or more.

I don't know how you guys live being on EDGE 90% of the time. Let's just say my droid has never roamed in the US before and the only time I see 3G disappear is when I use wifi. I enjoy streaming YouTube videos in high quality over EVDO Rev A while AT&T users are stuck on EDGE and T-Mobile users are roaming on GPRS :D

Well what's your solution? I mean, a lot of these are either a) rural or b) not in the "priority" list by providers. Most of the time of Tmo sucks, all the other providers do too. So you deal with EDGE or deal with no data at all.

My Fios router died on Sunday, and I had to use my AT&T Moto Q to tether to my cellular router (Cradlepoint CTR 350), using my T-Mo SIM...I only was able to get Edge speeds around 220Kbs, but my PCs were able to browse the web fairly well, and my VPN was not bad at all. All that while streaming a few real-time Level 2 stock quotes through my stock trading app on a PC all day.

I live pretty close to Atlanta (about 45 min from Georgia Tech). Would T-Mobile get HSPA+ service where I am? I know T-Mo gets about 3-4 bars in my house, but I couldn't test internet on my cousin's old Sidekick.

Depends, I live in Acworth at Red Top Mtn, and I was getting about 2.5 yesterday while Comcast fixed their SNAFU.

SIDE NOTE....While Comcast was down I used my MT3G as a tether without a hiccup, speeds weren't uber fast, but I was able to surf a bit.:D

Jacksonville FL, I get excellent coverage just about everywhere around here... needles to say if I go south towards St. Augustine and Daytona and even Miami I drop to edge and back to 3g but I havnt experienced any dead zones.. im sure kuz florida is welll flat! haha miss the mountains :(

I just started consistently getting 3-4Mbs "at my house" a few weeks ago...seems like the roll out is still in progress. However I still get little/no signal "inside" the same stores around my town. Outside in their parking lots, I'm golden.

I use the phone in Los Angeles and San Francisco. LA coverage is better than SF coverage.

T-Mobiles coverage is very odd. I don't know if they tried to trick us, by putting up 3G towers in a city, but distributing the towers very sparcely, just so they could advertise that city as 3G or what. I'll be driving, I'll have 3G...then litterly a mile later, i'll go down to edge for miles, then i'll get 3g again for a mile or two, then back to edge for miles.

T-Mobiles 3G in Los angeles is sloppy, I don't think distrubiting your 3G towers sparcely counts as have a real 3G city.

Also there are lots of dead zones, in orange county also. The experience gets worse for me when I go to SF. My verizon friends in both cities always, and I mean always have coverage.
