T Mobile users Uk

Anyone in the Uk give me some input on service, general coverage etc as I'm looking to move from O2, they just won't budge on price.
Also are the T Mobile handsets locked.

Coverage varies depending on where you are, so you need to check the coverage map for where you're likely to use your phone:

I used to be on O2, then on T-Mobile, now on 3. The service was about the same on each; 3 gives me slightly better coverage than T-Mobile did for the areas I spend most time in.

I get good service where I live - Crawley, West Sussex but when I'm in London, I sometimes struggle with my signal. Their Customer Service can be hit and miss but...when it comes to upgrading deals, I've found them to be very good.

Their handsets are locked and they charge
 
Thanks for your input, took out a 24 month tarrif with 500 mins/unlimited texts/unlimited data for 27 squid, phone cost
