Help (T-Mobile) Voicemail Notification won't go away

I just got my S III last night, and as soon as I turned on the device, it gave me a voicemail notification. Even though I have a few saved voicemails, when I called voicemail, it said that I have none. I rebooted, but it is still there. I may have found a fix, but I was wondering if anyone else has run into this issue. I'll try what I read when i wake up, and if that doesn't work, hopefully someone has posted something helpful here :)

Had that same issue when I first got mine (TMo) and I called them about it. It does go away after a while. Turns out after a couple of days I DID have one waiting on me from my brother, but I didn't check it because of the issue.

Once I cleared it, it was gone. But before then my VM Box was empty and the notification was still there. So I know your frustration.

Just give it a couple of days.

fixed thanks :) i just had my friend call me and leave a message. checked it, deleted the message, and then the notification went away while it was in my locker

You were actually very helpful. I thought that it might have been a weird fluke or something. Thanks! I still don't understand why it would do that....

well then, glad to be of service! did you upgrade? it could be a bug with moving over to a new phone. like i said in the op, i lost my saved voicemails
