How do I remove tabs from my Kyocera hydro phone

Hi, welcome to Android Forums.
If you mean browser tabs it depends in which browser/s you are using, as they tend to have different ways of dealing with tabs.
The following screenshot is of my HTC One, using the stock browser :-
Screenshot1 , the page icon in the address bar with 2 in it is the tab indicator and shows two tabs open. Tapping the icon gives options to open tab (tap + New Tab); close tab (tap X top right of tab); scroll through tabs (swipe to left or right) :-

The procedure for Chrome browser is similar.
