tablet frozen on android start screen (format no effect!)

Hello,
My tablet froze onto start screen. This has happened before, so what I did again was to wipe data/reset to factory settings via pressing power and + buttons. However, this time the tablet continues to freeze on start screen! Could anyone imagine what might be the problem? What should I do?

Could be that the system software has become corrupted rendering it completely unbootable, bricked. What make and model is it? If it's a no-name Chinese one, you might be out of luck though. Is it under warranty?

Its a Ferguson Reagent 10, not rooted. Could I flash again the software with an external SD card?
