Tablet Just Died...Looking For Suggestions

Hi guys. My HP Touchpad just died on me friday. I of course was running Andriod on it. I plan on selling it on ebay for parts then taking that money and adding my own to get a replacement Andriod tablet.
I am looking to keep the price under 160.00 with shipping and I would like for it to be running ATLEAST Andriod 4.0 with Google Play. Lastly I would like it to be a 9" or 10" tablet.

Any sugesstions on what is best in that price range? It would be used for viewing videos on youtbe and suck and surfing the web only. I dont need much storage space MAYBE 8 Gigs tops but of course the more the better.

I am willing to buy it from a online retailer, ebay or forum member just looking for the best deal in that price range. I m out of touch as far as what Chinese tablets are the better ones nowadays.

Thank you

A quality brand that size (9"-10") will be difficult to find.

But since you like HP, I will mention that the 7" Slate is $170 with Android 4.1 - even though it is slightly more expensive and slightly smaller. Check their site for details.

As a Samsung Galaxy S3 user of nearly a year without any problems I feel for you losing out on the Android experience.

I don't know about Chinese tablets and for obvious reasons I wouldn't buy one as they often have hardware defects or software problems or incompatibilities that more established brands don't suffer from. They can even die suddenly and lack support from the manufacturer.

Whichever tablet you choose try to make sure its a reputable brand and I hope you make the right choice from whatever suggestions are given to you

Unfortunately, you're not going to find a quality 10'' tablet for 160. Spend an extra $50 and buy a used Transformer Prime. Otherwise, you'll be getting something underpowered an it will be a lousy experience. That's just my .02.
