Tablet to desktop USB connection

I have noticed the charger supplied with the tablet is a 15V charger, and USB standard is 5 V.

So connecting the PAD to a standard USB port with the cable supplied may be a problem, unless ASUS wires it somewhat different in that regard.

Has any one tried it?

At the very list the tablet will not charge if connected to a desktop, or a regular car charger for that matter.

I've hooked my Transformer up to my computer a couple of times now to transfer files. No problem so far. It doesn't charge the tablet, though.

Owner's manual says it won't charge connected to a computer unless it's in standby.
