If you can tell us a little more about it then hopefully someone will know, or we can work out which forum it would be best to ask in.
So questions I'd ask are what (if anything) happened before this started? Did you update any apps, or accept any system updates? What are you trying to do when this happens? These may help identify the cause.
Also, what type of tablet do you have and what android version are you running?
As a generic fix, clearing data for the system app Contacts Storage has worked for some people with this error. But of course that deletes all of your contacts, so make sure they are backed up before trying this (either synced with Google or exported to sd).
