I'm trying to make an application where one "Master" phone controls many other "Slave" android phones. These slave phones are sensors that will use all the sensors an android phone has to collect data about the environment around it.
One of the things I'm trying to do is make one of these slave phones take a picture whenever they receive a command from the master phone. But I can't seem to find anywhere that says how to take a picture without popping up with the camera overlay. (Where you have to click a button to take a picture)
Is there any way to take a picture without going through this overlay? If not, is there a way to automatically take a picture?
Thanks!
tl:dr version: Can you take a picture without going into the phone's built in picture taker?
