Taking a screenshot with your S3 couldn't be easier!

Simply press the Power and Home key together and the capture will appear in a folder called Screenshots.

Job done :D

Chegs.

I am having problems using swipe and power/on button, both worked once then stopped. All settings seem ok. Any apps worth trying?

It's power and home on this phone. Just checked, it's much easier than the palm swipe. The page always used to end up moving.

Thanks for this bit of info Chegs.

Do palm swipe makes the screen have smudges and prints or something dirty

I find the palm swipe works brilliantly, you have to actually touch the screen though, not just hover over it (as I had thought at first).

It's been Power+Home since the Galaxy S 2 -- nothing new.

The swiping screenshot works some of the time. I usually end up hitting something on the screen and it takes the screenshot of something else instead.

For those having issues, hit the home button first, then right after that tap the power button. Trying to do both buttons simultaneously rarely works.
