Help taking picture while talking on phone

I have the S3 and I can't take a picture while talking on the phone. is there a way to bypass this or is there an app i can use? thanks.

You hit the home button then went into your camera app correct?

I just tried calling voicemail and taking a picture while in the call and it let me take one on my phone.

I tried this i can take a picture when calling voicemail so i tested it calling someone and it wont let me i can only do it while calling voicemail

So without root or maybe a third party app i dont think you can do this
