Help Taking pictures

Silly question but is there another way to take a photo without hitting the stupid camera button? I love the camera on this phone and my husband and I decided to just use it on our honeymoon but we couldnt take pictures of ourselves very well d/t always hitting the home key or back key...ive looked at other androids and they all allow you to press and hold screen or press a camera button on the side as well but have found no other option for my samsung mesmerize thus far...please help

I have not found a way to use the hardware buttons. But, there is an app called "Big Camera Button Lite" in the app store that turns your entire screen into the camera button that might make it easier for you. Some of the ratings indicate that people have had trouble with it, but it seems to work fine on my phone.

If anyone has another better solution, It would be great.

So true! I thought it was just me. The camera button or video is not so user friendly. Lots of practice is all I can say.
