Help Taking screenshots

I would like to take a screenshot of one of my apps when it is open. Every app on the market seems to require root access.

I know you can hold the back button and the power button and get a screen shoot from outside the app, but that does not work within an app.

Is there any way to do this?

you can do it from inside app. Go to home screen, hold down the back button for approximately 2 seconds and continue to hold, click on the app while still holding the back button, get to the screen you want to capture and hit the power button. Try this and let me know if it works for you.

Shake Them All does not require root access, as I recall.
Please correct me if I am wrong.
