I frequent forums that do not censor their members so I typically act accordingly. I guess I need to realize some moderators have certain guidelines they follow and as such I need to follow them as well.
And now a word from our sponsors -
We try to walk a decent line between being family friendly without being the thought police - and in our family, a few expletives are ok (per the rules in the links in my sig).
We mods all groupthink at our etherial snow lodge every {secret time} and try to keep things consistent and easy for you, the users.
That said - I think you have been doing a great job to keep this thread on the up and up and not at all sophomoric, the way these threads often get.
So - on that, good job, gang!
Now - here's some tips to further keep this thread out of our gunsights:
- Id the url in question as ****.com and identify it via PM when it matters (as in some sites you cannot browse) - I've edited that for you.
- Don't flood the thread with more urls - this is a how to make it work thread, not which sites are best
- If something is even slightly possible as NSFW, put a note on it. I liked lunatic59's youtube, and it was questionable if it even needed that warning, but when in doubt, do that - so I added it as an example.
- Finally - we have thing in the advanced editing tools, to the upper right, that looks like a big H - it wraps hide/show tags around your NSFW content. I'm going to use it below so you can see it working; you can reply by quote to this (you can always back out) just to see the tag itself.
- Don't use HIDE tags as an excuse to break the rules. - Thanks in advance for that.
Here's a sample, on-topic use of hide/show - it's NSFW because you might laugh too loud!
Now - the problem with a lot of flash content is that it won't work if it knows you have a mobile browser. Start with going into your browser settings and turning off Mobile.
If that's not working - next step is usually the UA - the way the browser identifies itself.
Try this, it works on the Evo, no promises for yours -

After that - try 3rd party browsers.
And no, we have different interests. I changed my browser UA so I can watch VEVO music vids on YouTube.
