Tango + Data Plan question.

I feel this is a pretty techy question that i cant answer myself.....

I'm on tmobile (i have Galaxy S 4G) and tmobile has a 5gb limit on their 'unlimited' data plan.

so, i thethered the hell out of my data plan and now im paying the price...

my question is.....
If i go over my data plan, as explained above, would that affect tango?
-my speculation is....
.. Going over my data plan hinders my download speeds, making the video/audio receiving really bad for me..
.. however, i can still upload fine, which explains why the recipient can see/hear me perfectly.

also, the other person is using the htc thunderbolt

If your plan is unlimited 5GB it is very likely they capped your speeds and the problem you are talking about can be the result of that.

Give tmob a call and ask them about the cap - they should have no problem telling you about it.

Hey there,

I would definitely contact T-mobile as the above poster mentioned. If your download speeds become capped, it can definitely affect your sound and video quality during Tango calls.
