Help Tap and Go. Enable beaming?

Hi,

First time trying to use NFC on a phone. My bank has an app that allows Tap and Go payments. I know I need to turn on NFC but do I also need to turn on android beam?

Nope, you just need NFC enabled. Android Beam is more for tapping and sharing pics or contacts or stuff with another phone, has nothing to do with the tap and pay function.

Well. The number of places that have tap to pay are growing but I'd still take that plastic with you for now, just in case
