Tap To Answer Phone

welcome to AF!!!!!!!!!!

i guess i'm just used it. there was a feature to tap, but its not there on the pie update......sorry, but i'm not sure what else you can do.

That was a nice tip and thanks for the link. Single tap is BACK!
Not for me, I still have no option for Single Tap after I press Assistant Menu.

I lost my Single Tap when I got this update a week ago

My phone is answering calls with single tap now, I guess they realized it was terrible to swipe and changed it back.

I couldn't get rid of the floating icon, but then realized it needs to be held down for a second or so. Good fix. Now I just have to get rid of that accessibility notification in the drop down menu!

I don't have that in my drop down and I am not sure how I got rid of it. I think you go back into the accessibility settings again and tap Interaction and Dexterity>Assistant Menu>Assistant Plus and make sure it is OFF.
Sorry, I was wrong. Here are the instructions for getting rid of that. I knew I'd seen it somewhere.
Settings, accessibility, 3 dots, hide status notification.

Anyone find a good dialer app to address this issue? The floating icon comes back every time I start the phone and it drives me nuts.

I only restart my phone once a week or so and it is easy to get rid of the floating icon when it comes back. Just long press then drag it to the top and buh bye. Does yours not work that way?

Yes, that's how it works. I shut down my phone every night, though.
