Tapatalk on the droid

Lol, I just got it too and when I backed out, I saw this thread and was like "spyware??", haha. Seemed like it might be a decent app., but it better be damn good if I'm paying for it.

Awaiting opinions..

Off topic Q: Does anyones Droid try to double-post every time you submit a post? Every time I post I get the page that says "you have to wait 15 secs between posts".

I got the popup this am. Thought it was junk too but it seems legit.
Dont download the paid one. the free beat version is available and it expires this weekend.

It works fine but needs some work.
I always thought using this forum on my phones browser was a bit of a PITA.
 
Got the free version on now. Using it to post this.

It definitely makes it easier/faster to view and reply to threads. It's almost like writing an SMS so theres no typing lag or cumbersome editing.

I just wish it supported my other forum I stay on all the time (Hardforum.com). Until then, I'll keep using it for this forum.

How did you get the spaces between your paragraphs on this post?
I couldnt get the enter button to start a new paragraph while using tapatalk.

That happens to me with forums that use vBulletin.

Weird, I didn't have to do anything special to make a new paragraph.

When I hit enter, it returns down like a normal keyboard for me (like I just did again).
 
With tapatalk, you can read & reply to posts on tapatalk-enabled forums, which AF recently became. There's a related thread in Community, Suggestions (or close; found it with Search).

Trying free version myself right now. Early verdict... much more easily usable mobile interface -- I can find & read more/faster with tapatalk than via mobile web.
 
so, does anyone know how to bookmark a particular forum? I don't like having to navigate all the way to the Droid section every time.

You can already get a mobile version of the site. Scroll down all the way to the bottom left and select AF Mobile where it says Phandroid Skin. Sure it isn't pretty, but it's lightweight.

I myself was trying out tapatalk, but am skeptical because it doesn't cover all the forums I use. But you rock. I never noticed the mobile version. It loads so much faster.
