Just downloaded Tapatalk PRO and I'm loving it so far.

Definitely a must for those who use forums.

Here's the link. http://market.android.com/search?q=pname:com.quoord.tapatalkpro.activity

Let me know if you still can't find it.

Hmmm...

I'm pretty sure its compatible with 2.1. Even the leaked version.

I'll email the dev and ask to make sure.

I'm using it with 2.1 (Droid) and no problems. Just checked and Tapatalk and Tapatalk Pro both show up in the market. I just wish more forum sites were supported but at least this one is :)

For the people with 2.1 leaked it's most likely tapatalk is a protected app which is why you can't see it, our marketplace can't see protected apps.

That's most likely the issue.

Also, if you're not finding your favorite forums what you need to do is contact the those who run the forum and have them activate it with Tapatalk.

I can't say I've had much luck convincing other forums that I frequent to adopt this nifty program. Would anyone else be interested in banding together to send emails to each other's preferred non-tapatalk forums, to encourage them to start?

Definitely!!! What post a list of some of the forums that you want to get activated, and I'll gladly send out some emails. Anything to help out a fellow androider.

The forums found at www.prosportsdaily.com and at www.uniwar.com are the two I'd mostlike to see. What about you?

I would like tapatalk better if it didn't advertise itself. Even after you pay for it, you can't post anything on a forum without having it say "Sent from my _____ Using tapatalk."

If they ever get around to doing away with the iPhone-style advertising, I will consider using it.

All you need to do is at the home screen of Tapatalk go into the settings and turn off the Tapatalk signature.

I tried it and like tiked the program but deleted it when I couldn't post with it. Only two forums that I go to use it so it's not worth me paying for it right now.

Yes, everyone needs to do this (including you). It's silly that they make you buy the app to post, and by default it spams an ad with every post.

so the q is where to download tapatalk from

The Market, like every other app.

I agree that it can be annoying. I made up my mind somewhere around the 300th time i was forced to read it on this forum and xda I would never buy their app, no matter how good it was, ever. It could spit out naked supermodels every time it spammed that ad and I wouldnt buy it. Ok, that was a lie, I would probably buy in and tolerate the ads for the naked supermodels, sometimes you have to take one for the team, but still.....

No offense to anyone but only people who are ocd must be annoyed by this. Whooptiydoo theres a signature.
