Tapfish: The easy way (ROOT)

Warning: This is for root users.

Ok so everyone has an overly competitive friend or three. Mine introduced me to tapfish. He figured having a 20 level jump on me meant he had bragging rights. I'm now level 80 with every non-bred fish. Add me as a friend AntarRSB to see.

Aps you'll need:
Tapfish
Root Explorer (About 2 bucks in market)
SQLite Editor (About 4 bucks in market)

First install all three and start a game of tap fish, naturally skipping this stage if you have started a game.

Close game and stop it from running.

Open root explorer and go into these folders in this order.

Data>Data>com.bayview.tapfish>databases

In there you'll see a few files. The one with sqlite in the title is the one you want. Select it.

Go to "level" to check the XP requirements for your desired level. Go back. Go to "user" click the XP field and press [Menu] on your phone. Edit field changes the selected field or the lightest shade of grey of all in the row. Edit record lets you input values for all. To not screw up your game change only Coins, Bucks, and Experience.

Close out root explorer open tap fish and there you have it. Repeat these steps as many times as you want to control just about every step of the game.

Moved to Android games forum as I think a few people here are playing Tapfish and would appreciate the tip :)

cheers

This still works great! For $7 you can have pretty much unlimited Tapfish.

Do you have any idea how to do this for Ninja Royale?

Thanks for sharing!

Hesitant to share my free fish bucks and coins trick, but..... Here it is.

1) download the app 'gameCIH2' from the market, or simply google the name and download the apk file (make sure unknown sources is enabled on your device settings!) 2) open gameCIH2. 3) click gameCIH2's hot key option, and press volume down on your phone or tablet. 4) open up TapFish, leaving gameCIH2 open. 5) once TapFish is loaded, press your volume down button to open GameCIH2's interface. 6) select the 'input name' option and enter 'gameBucks'. 7) select the title next to the open lock icon that reads 'gameBucks: (your current Fishbucks value)' and change the value to your desired amount.

For coins, repeat the same process, but instead of entering 'gameBucks' enter 'gameCoins'.

Feel free to add me as a Tapfish neighbor (JakeReed) or email me at jakereed92@gmail.com for any further help with this cheat!

Love, Jake
