Help Tapping the S3 makes the innards vibrate?

I'm having a rather strange issue with my Verizon S3 and I'm wondering if it sounds familiar to anyone. When I tap my phone (on or off, with cover/battery or without) it vibrates a little bit. If I put my ear up to it I can hear a sound like a tiny spring moving. I've tried taking everything out and holding the buttons still, but it still happens. I think it's mostly happening around the bottom of the device. I have a friend with a Sprint S3 and his doesn't do it, or not as noticeably anyway.

Does anyone else have this issue? Could it be related to the um, "vibrator" inside being loose or something? The phone seems to work fine but the vibration is a bit annoying and I wonder if it's a rare enough issue that I should be concerned and exchange. Thanks!

The sound your hearing is most likely the camera optics inside the phone. Some vibrate and rattle more then others.

My phone had a similar noise (top end though) sounded like a loose on off button rattle, My phone was exchanged because of a different fault and the new one was fine..!! :o

This reminds me of telling a doctor "It hurts when I press here" to which the doctor replies "Don't press there then".
