I have a Galaxy S. Are task killer apps necessary? I have tried multiple task killer apps but all the apps restart right after i kill them. I have noticed that the phone runs a bit faster with the constant killing though. Someone please clarify this for me.
Another question I have is about the Juice Defender. I've read good reviews about this app so I downloaded it last night. While I was trying to set it up, it crashed my phone twice so I uninstalled it. The app claims to turn off 3G services every 30 mins and when your phone's screen is not on. Is this true? If so, then wouldn't my screen have to be on to receive facebook or whatsapp notifications?
