Is there a way to access the task manager to shut down applications?

There is a Task Manager just uploaded to the Marketplace. To remove home screen items: press and hold the item and drag it to the bottom of your screen to the Tab. It will flash red and remove the shortcut.

To clarify, because it confused me too, when you drag an icon on the HOME screen the tab at the bottom turns to a trashcan. Took me a while to figure this out.

STILL trying to figure out how to get a digital clock, but too ashamed to ask for help...

Oh, that's awesome. Thanks for the tip! It worked with the clock on the home screen, too.
