Help Tasker Application Working on RAZR?

Hey Everyone,

I wanted to put it out there and see if anyone knows the answer to that question.

I've been messing around with the app and using the wiki but the profiles do not seem to be working on the phone. Now I am a noob to the app and it is vey possible I am completly messing it up but following the instructions to the T and it still doesn't work properly??

I was wondering if it could be the new build version for the phone?

To those who use the app, what has your experience been like? I really want to use the app but my luck has been little to none so far.

Tasker works just find on the Razr...

Build your profiles slowly... don't set up absolutely everything at once. I've had Tasker on my Razr for over a week now and I'm still slowly tweaking the profiles to do exactly what I want them to do.

Tasker is much more granular than Smart Actions but it's also really easy to get things unnecessarily complex. I use GPS to determine the location for many of my profiles to kick in, use time/day of the week to limit access to some profiles, and I'm just starting to play with connection to a power source to further refine my profiles.

I can't get Tasker to turn on Mobile data automatically on my RAZR. The very same task worked perfectly on my Atrix. I imported the task into the RAZR and it doesn't work any more. No matter, i'll just wait for an update.

Try deleting the profile from your Razr and re-enter it manually. I tried moving some profiles from one of my tablets to my Razr and they never worked right. I re-entered them manually and they worked fine...

Am I the only one with this problem? I had Tasker running on my Atrix. The moment I get home, it turns on Wifi and turns off Mobile data. I imported the exact same task into my RAZR. Turning the Wifi on and off is no problem - but it doesn't turn mobile data on and off.

Someone said imported rules don't always work correctly, and if you run into that issue, you should try rebuilding it directly on the new phone.
