Tasker Detect File Modified (Root)

Xander314

Lurker
I want to trigger a Tasker task when a file in a subdirectory of /data/data is created. However, by default it seems Tasker cannot see files in this directory because it lacks root permissions. Is there a way to grant Tasker root permissions so it can perform file operations on root-owned files?

Thanks in advance for any help.

It can be Done assuming you are rooted. Specifically, Execute any task that requires s.u. Permission and tasker will ask you for s.u. Permission. After that it retains permission.
