Tasker help!!!!

Making a Uccw widget gets really long sometimes. Have to press down on homescreen than press select than size of uccw widget.

Is there any way to use tasker to create a button thats opens up a either a specific size of uccw widget like 4x4 or that opens all available variations for making a uccw widget.

So I can just click a button on the homescreen and the it will automatically open a uccw widget the basic one with nothing on it?

Also can I use tasker to lauch widgets that are already made?

Do I have to use Autoshortcut or AutoLaunch? or is it possible within tasker itself?

Tasker should be able to launch any Activity of any application, so something close to what you're after should be possible.

I recommend using the Secure Settings plugin to do so - it makes it easy to pick the Activity without having to just guess. Once installed, add the action Plugins > Secure Settings > Configure > Actions > Launch Activity. Then you specify the App (like UCCW) and pick from the available Activities - hopefully one of them has a helpful name like ".CreateWidgetActivity".
