OK guys just an update.. Starscream has agreed to sell the spectrum to me for $50 however unfortunately I am unable to pay the price in full... Im a jobless high school student so yeah... you know how that goes... If anyone is willing to contribute to me purchasing the device please do so by donating to the link below... Also please pm me with your full name and amount donated... Thank You in advance :-)

tbh I don't know whether anyone will donate. it's nothing against you jet, but the community donated to get starscream the spectrum in the first place, so it's kind've like asking for double donations if that makes sense? maybe he should just give it to you? idk a sticky situation is developing here

I am fully aware of the situation... yes I agree that the price should be a bit lower considering it is a donated device... but at the end of the day nothing is free... I am not forcing anyone to donate however any contribution will be highly appreciated

Yes wtf man? Why is he selling a device that was donated to him? Or did only some of the device cost get donated?

I agree entirely. we want you guys to get a spec to do your work on etc, but it is a tricky situation but I'll try to get it resolved.

Alright guys... an update on the situation... starscream no longer has any intention of donating or contributing in anyway to this community... he says that he will now just put it on ebay and sell it... soooo yeah

Edit: he claims that his personal issues prevent him from just giving it out for free.... ill leave it up to you guys to decide where to go from there
 
It's too bad that he is having personal problems, but he has no right to sell that phone. He recently tried to get an Optimus Elite that somebody wanted to donate. He might be trying to get other phones. Maybe he shouldn't have an orange "developer" name because it makes people believe that he is trustworthy.
 
He may still be willing to donate at the reduced price... however its obvious he will not simply "give" it away
