Help TecTiles with Otterbox Defender

Not sure if this is the best place for this since I don't think it's really phone specific but I have an S3 and an Otterbox Defender case on it so I figure I'll start here.

I am thinking about getting some Tec Tiles but does anyone know if they work through the Defender case?

thanks!

Should be fine.

I don't have TecTiles, I have the ones from tagsfordroid.com and I have the Commuter rather than the Defender. I have a tag under my desk (pretty solid wood about 2cm thick) and the phone reads it from the top of the desk just fine.
