Teething problems

I have just purchased Viewpad7 but cannot connect to my Sky server and therefore can't access the Internet. Each time I attempt to set up my WI-Fi network, the screen goes through the motions (remembering, authentication, etc.) the Wi-Fi settings perform a scan and then show 'Disconnected.' After this, my Sky network shows 'Disabled, secured with WPA/WOA2 PSK'. What can I do?
