I own(ed) a Transformer with the Tegra 2. It couldn't even survive a fall from a car roof and being ran over by a single tire *cough*.
That being said, I'm in the market for a new tablet and am deciding on another Transformer or upgrading to the Prime. The biggest issue with the Transformer was "It plays hi def!" only to be found that it sure does... if you can get your bitrate under a certain number because the CPU didn't have the bandwidth to process it.
Is this something that's still an issue with the Tegra 3 on the Prime? The videos I'm talking about are mpeg2/4 encoded, perhaps some x.264 thrown in. Nothing obscure. Assuming they are x.264 (regardless of the bitrate) will the Tegra 3 be able to handle them?
