TeleNav battery drain

I temporarily opted for the extra monthly $ fee for the Premium version, but have gone back to the regular version because my phone would not charge in the car while the program was running.

I know it uses alot of power so have always used the car charger while using the TeleNav so as not to have the battery discharge, however the Premium version seemed to be preventing the charger from working.

Just wondering about others experiences?

After calling TeleNav and uninstalling Premium, then reinstalling the basic app, my car charger now keeps the battery level "up" where it should be.
