I have a lot of contacts with telephone extensions which I entered in this format: 999-999-9999 x345
All of my previous phones simply ignored the "x345" part when dialing and I would see it on the screen and enter it. With Galaxy S3 I get a "could not complete the call" message from Verizon.
I know I could go in and edit them to add commas to pause dialing but I have hundreds of contacts and I'd rather not do this. Is there a way to set my phone to only dial the 10 digit phone number and ignore everything else?
Thanks in advance.
