Telus Fascinate Clockwork plz help

Okay, for months now, ive gone through 2 phones and done more bricking then flashing

I have done lots and lots of reserach and am getting to the point where i just want to stay stock. Im rooted, and every time i try to flash clockwork through odin i either get a fail, or if i keep trying sometimes it goes through and says pass but it gets stuck on a force start loop and i cant do anything in recovery menu...so i end up fash stock files for telus to return the phone to its new state. I really want to get clockwork on here and try some roms. If anyone could help it would be awesome.

Ps, i already tried tripplec's method and it didnt work(no offence and ty for the input bro)

Hey, I'm pretty new to Android as well. I bought my Telus Fascinate at the beginning of December. I've rooted it, and started looking into different mods for it, but like you, I'm definitely still learning.

Two questions.

I have Clockwork Recovery through ROM Manager that I downloaded straight from Android Market. What is the difference between flashing it, like you want to, and downloading the market version like I did?

Also, where did you find the Telus stock files? I'm trying to create or find a backup for my Telus Fascinate so I can get on with trying different ROMs with at least a little assurance that I have a 'safety net' in case I muck it up.

Like I said, I'm pretty new to the scene but so far I absolutely love my SGS and the Android community in general!

Since you are rooted have you considered using SGS Kernal Flasher? It is pretty easy to use and it allows you to back up the stock files first. I used it to flash on Stock+Voodoo for the T959D.

This is pretty much as far as I got with flashing roms because this phone is a bit of a pain. I managed to get Bionix onto my phone, but I didn't like the feel of it. Some of the buttons need to be remapped. I also tried flashing straight to Darky's 9.5 Extreme Edition, but that failed as well, as it gave me tons of FCs even after wiping the device.

Anyways, once you get CWM on there do a backup, and then start playing around, I can't tell you how many ROMs I have tried. Oh yeah, and before you flash anything MAKE SURE YOU DISABLE VOODOO!!!!
