Telus S2X (T989D) flatline.

October of last year my S2X was non-responsive when I woke up one morning. The phone was not even showing a battery charge icon, like it would if the phone was off and plugged in. Black screen, no single vibration when trying to turn it on, zero response. As normal it was plugged into a APC unit with other things so there was no chance of a surge. The only feedback I get is when plugged into a linux laptop when I run the lsusb cmd I see the phone is in QDL Mode.

I replaced the S2X with an N4. Now I'm just checking in a few months later to see if anyone knows of a way to revive the phone. The plan is to use it as a music device.

JTAG it. There are services that will do it that advertise on eBay. Of course if it's a hardware problem, that won't do anything, so you'll have to get it repaired.
