Temple run Crashing Phone

i believe its the app itself causing the issue, but was curious to if anyone els was having trouble with it

i can start the game up and choose play and itll work for a lil bit(like 2 minutes), then it goes right to the splash image and the phone restarts

if i pause the game the same thing

if i select anything at the main menu except start, its the same thing

so i uninstalled, restarted the phone, reinstalled it, same thing happens

so i tried uninstalling and reinstalling again, same thing except now i get an error saying the game files are loading outside parameters - game cannot load, then it loads anyway with the same crashing

im running cm7 g60 style r0.10 and it happens everytime, but it happened to me twice on the r0.9 and it happened once on the r0.6

but again i believe its the app causing the trouble, just wondering if anyone else was having issues like this

Gingerbread ROMs are not the best to play games like that on. Sometimes my phone would reboot as well when I played temple run on CM7. Games like those have the best performance on a FroYo ROM...I don't know why but that's just how it is. You sacrifice with slightly worse battery life, but all games are smooth as butter!

nah, havent even gone into the performance setting since going to g60 r0.10

I am having this issue as well. Mine would freeze when my guy dies and sound would cut out, then it reboots. I sent them an email awhile ago explaining my problem. No response back. I decided to just uninstall it until they fix the problems.

I've had the same problem. It worked fine up until the recent update, so hopefully they update it again soon.

nice, thats what i was wondering, well not nice lol but my phone is set for auto updates and i never saw temple run update

i was for sure it wasent the rom cause it was working fine for awhile, i figured it was an update but wanted to post to see if i was the only one with the issue or not

I might have a fix for this its not fully tested but im running minimal 7 2.3.7 temple run was crashing my phone and freezing so made a backup and installed b-kernal for cm7 now the game is running smooth no crashes or freezing hope this helps

The touch screen sucks so the game is unplayable anyway.

well my touch screen works 100% fine on temple run, never had a single issue of non response, as for bkernel, i did have that installed at one point, and it was excellently smooth, but as b_randon stated i believe he didnt do to much to the cm7 version for the battery life, and it killed my battery, running g60style r0.10 with no bkernel i get almost 4 days of battery, g60style with bkernel i get 24-27 hours



the bkernel you have running on minimal triumph i believe is the froyo base, altho i cannot for the life of me remember lol, but i think it is, and the froyo based one has been reported much better

so far its seems like it was the games last update is what caused the problems, go ive just been waiting to see an update for it to see if its fixed

Don't have much choice dude, unless you feel like downgrading to FroYo.

yeah, what he said. Never had any crashing problems, but after a min or so I would inevitably die because the screen didn't respond to a finger swipe.
