Help Temple Run poor performance

Temple Run on my brothers Xperia S runs very irregularly. It will be smooth one moment then either freeze up or jerk/hitch the next. The game runs great on my Samsung Galaxy S2 so I dont understand why he is having problems as his phone is slightly higher spec. Is this a common problem with the game on this phone?

Nope it runs perfect on my phone, never once had an issue with it.

Even now after I've rooted I've under clocked the cpu for better battery life and it still runs fine...

Same here. No problems at all running it. This is running the standard rom.

I found that if the Smart stay option in the Display setting menu is selected it affects the performance in gaming. Turn off the smart stay and try running the game again. It worked for me.
