Terminlogy, Downloading??

[Fifi]

Hi guys,

Can anybody help? I was half asleep browsing thru the new posts late last night and read with interest that some kind person has written a new article re stuff we should know when downloading an app and the exact meaning of words like System Tools, Coarse Location (just how coarse is that?), Read Phone Identity, etc.

I've spent an hour looking for it again today - but can't find it.

If any of you know what I'm talking about pls let me know as I want to learn about these issues and their risk/impact.

Thanks.
