Help Terrible 4G Speeds on my Note II

When I got my Galaxy Nexus exactly one year ago, I had download speeds of 15mg and uploads of 8mg routinely in NYC.

That was just too darn sweet.

Now on my Note II, I am getting pathetic downloads and uploads. I just sent an email to VZW support. This is just ridiculous.

I'm averaging 14mbs on Tmo here in NYC.......hope they can sort you out.

I think it's being in a major city that's ruining it. but the numbers on my phone are just too darn low and I don't think it's the phone. it runs great.

Naw, I wouldn't say that. I know some people on the Verizon network getting some great speeds. Might be a tower issue or maybe the network could use a refesh. Call in, you have nothing to loose. You're paying good money for service.

It's not uncommon for carriers to have to make repairs to their towers in order to restore full service. Most of the time the repairs are done thanks to people like yourself inquiring about bad service.

NewDroid, Don't you think you may be jumping the gun a little. we don't know if it's a tower. it could be NYC and too much 4G traffic. i'll keep you guys posted.

Just ran a test here in Los Angeles on Verizon. Definitely has to be something specific to your device.
