Tesla gets a setback in Michigan...why am I not surprised?

Given that Detroit is where cars began in this country, it's no surprise that they would have such protective legislation in place. It's a shame and an embarrassment, though.

General thought is that General Motors paid for this bill. I'd believe it. Just goes to show that anyone claiming we have a free market or capitalism here is full of crap- what we have is government-enforced bullying.

So true... We market the American dream, someone from Africa comes here to live it, and this is what he gets. You can't sell cars here because it means we are selling less, and the state and the government gets less money.
