The ROM already has a mobile hotspot. Just go to settings and look under wireless and networks and find more and it's right there

At first it wasn't working for me but now it do work well that the only app the I found the work with the ROM it may be other not know but is a short cut for the hotspot I am happy cuz I wasn't able to get 3g tether in stock now for cm10 it work fine

Easy wifi tether works great also. Use it to watch netflix and hulu on my xbox for root users only though ;-)

My computer picks up the easy tether app but it won't open any pages, it just keeps loading forever... do I have to change user agent strings or something

If you use firefox and change user agent to google bot you will get internet.. thats how i do it.
