Tether speed, WiFi vs Cable

Can anyone tell me which is faster, the Rooted WiFi tether or just tethering with a USB Cable?

USB has a higher limit but actual attained speeds are influenced by a number of variables. The tethering connection is just one piece in the chain and, as with any chain, your weakest link is the limiting factor.

This. You wont notice the difference between wifi and usb.
