Tether to laptop?

Anyone tried to tether to get LTE Internet speeds for their laptop? I have been using PdaNet on my Galaxy S and it works great, albeit slow. Note I'm on Verizon and still waiting for my phone.

I'll have unlimited on VZW which is why tethering is so valuable!
