Help Tethering an Android tablet

grvthang

Android Enthusiast
I'm thinking of buying an inexpensive Android tablet. Would I be able to access the web with it by tethering it to my DInc2? I don't want to pay VZW mobile hot spot fees, so I don't mind having to use a wire if I have to. I've used easytether a few times in the past (with my Eris) to get on the web with my pc (with a wired connection), but I remember having to install some easytether software on the pc in order for easytether to work.
Anybody out there doing this?

Thanks, Rev. I'm surprised there's so little information around on this. I bought my niece a Coby Kyros and I was surprised at how good it was; it's no ipad, for sure, but for the price it was pretty cool. I'm thinking of getting one for myself now.

I'm right there with ya. I missed out on the touchpad fire sale. I woulda bought one even though I am really not in the market for one. I'll never buy another i-product, but for $100 I'll buy a tablet that I don't even need :D
And why it isn't yet figured out how to tether from Android to Android is beyond me. If it isn't there yet, it will be soon. It HAS to be.
