Help Tethering App for Motorola XRPT

Howdy from Texas - is there any tethering applications out there for the Motorola XRPT? I Google'd and found one site offering an app but I think its a scam. It would be nice to Tether the XRPT at times to my notebook when such the need arises. Anyone out there know of an app? Thanks

Yes, If the phone is rooted, then tether for root will work, also Barnacle.
